Upcoming Events

ECA Regional Forum: Eleventh Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD 11)
The ECA and the Government of Uganda, in collaboration with the African Union Commission, African Development Bank, and entities of the United Nations System, will convene the 11th session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development from 8-10 April 2025 in Kampala, Uganda. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Driving job creation and economic growth through sustainable, inclusive, science-and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want’.

The Forum will review selected SDGs and corresponding goals of Agenda 2063, in line with the 2025 HLPF:

  • SDG 3: Good health and well-being
  • SDG 5: Gender equality
  • SDG 8: Decent work and economic growth
  • SDG 14: Life below water
  • SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals
